Alec serves as the Young Professional Council’s Membership Chair and is responsible for member recruitment and engagement. A Richmond native who earned his BA in English Language & Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he works as a proposal specialist at LaBella Associates with a focus on delivering critical waste & recycling, environmental, and civil infrastructure projects to serve communities throughout the Southeast. A resident of Northside with his husband Ryan and two dogs Angelo and Weezy, he can be found on the golf course, enjoying Richmond’s vibrant restaurant scene, or on the banks of the James River with a good book.
